Kornit Digital, a leading-edge company that develops manufactures and markets state-of-the-art printing solutions for the textile, garment & apparel decorating industries looking for a System Engineer 

Purpose of the role:

The System Engineer will act as a technical authority among the Engineering department and will serve the entire company by giving technical solutions for all system related issues. The system Engineer will participate in design and verification activities as part of the talented team working on our current and next generation products.

 

What will you do?

  •  Act as Technical focal point for variety of issues, tasks & escalation related to the printing system
  •  Responsible on writing technical ORD (Operational Requirement Document) which defines the manufacturing specification for the design
  • Solve complex technical issues involves Vacuum, flow and Elctro mechanical modules
  •  Managing technical tasks, priorities, escalations and timeline. Responsible on coordination with R&D matrix, program partners and outside the matrix stack holders
  • Set up integration and testing environments
  •  Lead and execute Cost reduction projects 
  •  Leading Design Reviews, integration with the system
  • Strong hands on background, ability of system troubleshooting 

Requirements

What should you have?

  •  B.Sc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, M.SE (Master in System Engineering) is strong advantage
  • Strong background as a Mechanical/Electrical engineer with experience in design of electro-mechanical systems, involving motion, mechanisms and control.
  • More than 3 years’ experience as a System Engineer for multidisciplinary development - a must
  •  Experience with digital printing machines - an advantage
  • Experience in a matrix organization – preferably in global organizations.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and results
  • Capability of solving complex multidisciplinary problems
  •  Self-motivated, good presentation skills
  • High learning and development ability, wide systemic vision, ability to work independently with can-do attitude
  •  High level of English
