Customers design their pieces without limitations on color or quantities and can re-order their materials anytime.<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-19317 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/dev.kornit.com\/blog2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/PIC2-300x190.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"190\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kornit.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/PIC2-300x190.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.kornit.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/PIC2-1024x648.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.kornit.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/PIC2.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><br \/>\nThe Yucatan-based \u201cfashion lab\u201d serves a diverse set of customers, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>fashion design universities and students;<\/li>\n<li>artists printing their digital art to canvas;<\/li>\n<li>entrepreneurs and fashion designers developing their products; and<\/li>\n<li>established brands looking to \u201cnearshore\u201d and minimize their launch cycles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As many such print businesses have reported, the COVID-19 situation has sent shockwaves through Indumental.<br \/>\n\u201cAlmost all orders for pattern-making and digital printing were canceled, and surprisingly replaced by a demand for face masks and medical uniform patterns, in addition to some home textiles,\u201d says Zacil Cinco, General Manager at Indumental.<\/p>\n<p>According to Cinco, the business designed and printed some face masks with animal cartoon faces for their team, and posted the images on social media; in short order, they had received orders for children\u2019s face masks in Mexico City, and a cable service provider ordered imprinted face masks for its workers and customers.<\/p>\n<p>Carla Fernandez, a notable Mexican fashion designer, contracted with Indumental for her <a href=\"PonteLaM\u00e1scara\">#PonteLaM\u00e1scara project<\/a>, a collaboration with the Grupo Modelo and Cerveza Victoria breweries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project intends to donate 50,000 face masks to different entities in Mexico City, which has observed the highest COVID-19 rates in our country,\u201d says Cinco. \u201cTheir designs are inspired by traditional wood masks made by artisans\u2014colorful and original, reflecting our culture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Face masks represented a new undertaking for Indumental, but they worked with their customers to ensure a timely production schedule given the urgent need for a finished product, particularly in light of surgical masks becoming scarce. For example, we printed the pillows, banners, and blankets for the <a href=\"https:\/\/bmw-foundation.org\/how\/world-responsible-leaders-forum\/\">BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt World Responsible Leaders Forum<\/a>.
