On December 7, 2020, the European Digital Press Association (EDP) bestowed this year’s EDP Awards in an online presentation to a<\/strong> total of 29 winners. The coveted awards were presented for the 14th time, with a slight delay due to Covid\u201019, as all<\/strong> the planned dates had to be postponed or cancelled due to the impact of the pandemic, including the original June date at drupa in Duesseldorf.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

One such has been awarded to Kornit Digital, manufacturer of advanced digital printing and production technologies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The EDP Awards are Europe’s only technology assessment in the industry and an open competition for all products announced and launched in the market within a year. The winners are selected by a commission of experts (the EDP Technical Committee), which evaluate the submitted products according to criteria such as innovation, quality, performance, and cost. Due to these strict criteria, there are no voting or other public votes. It is about technical criteria, not popularity.
