Moss represents the power of nature to renew itself and flourish, even on and around the ruins and the rubble. In this complex world in which we live, it invites us to observe unhurriedly, to reconnect to the natural surroundings, and to find there a source of solace and hope. It is also very highly likely that the popular representation of the phenomenon emanates from consumer feelings and desire for something that is neither whole nor polished, but rather exposed and tarnished, something easier to identify with and feel akin to.
